LEAN FOR SOE BRANDING
This brand identity system was created to help promote the LEAN for SOE program that aims to enhance the way people experience their career journey within Facebook’s Source, Operation and Engineering organization. It focuses on providing resources and tools for the five phases that matter most within their career journey, all in one place.
My role is to create the brand identity and the visual language that provides a warm and inviting feel. I designed the wiki pages, which is the main touchpoint with the target audience, and ensure the content is meaningful and easy to consume, and that the site is easy to navigate. Swags were part of the promotional campaign to create more visibility and awareness of the program.
As the program continues to evolve and gain visibility and trust, more people with new programs approached the design team to help with design and promotional help.

The KonTikiJF Aloha font is chosen for the logotype because of the rounded corners combined with the straight lines, and the unique “A” shape adds a subtle unique feel to the logo. The red color represents empowerment, and the overall warm tone helps to exude the warmth and caring aspect of the brand.
These images and icons are the design language for the LEAN brand, and they represent the five phases of the career journey within the organization. They are an extension of the warm look and feel of the brand.
Posters around the office to promote and remind people of the program with program’s branding elements.
Wiki is LEAN’s main touchpoint to connect with the target audience. The design strategy is to use the image and the logo to help strengthen the brand, make sure it’s easy to navigate within the site and make the content easy to glance and consume.
The t-shirt graphic helps to promote the love people could come to develop for the program’s brand.
A stickers was proposed because stickers are very popular at Facebook and would provide high visibility of the brand.
